State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) - Delhi

As per the Government of India notification number S.O.1533 (E) dated 14 September, 2006, the Ministry of Environment , Forests& Climate Change, Government of India has to notify SEIAA and SEAC for Union Territories/States .

For Delhi the SEIAA/SEAC were notified by MoEF, GOI vide notification no S.O. 1888(E)  dated 30.07.2008 and  again vide notification no.S.O. 1845(E) dated 5th August, 2011. The member and the Chairman of the SEIAA/SEAC hold the office for a fixed term of three years.

Thereafter vide Gazette Notification no S.O. 919(E) dated 01.04.2015 MoEF &CC notified the third SEIAA and SEAC for Delhi consisting of 3 and 10 members respectively. The Fourth SEIAA/SEAC Delhi have been constituted vide Gazette Notification No. S.O.3631 (E) dated 06.09.2021 MoEF & CC consisting of 03 and 13 Members respectively.
